Choice Belgian brews for seasonal gatherings.

AVEC LES BONS VOEUX

Since 1970, Brasserie Dupont has brewed a special beer to give as a New Years present to their best customers. Avec Les Bons Voeux, the name of the beer, translates in English to “With best wishes of the Brewery Dupont.”

Because of the increasing success, the brewery started to commercialize the beer. Although the demands were considerable, only a small quantity was brewed and a reservation list had to be created months before the New Year.

This Belgian Blond is coppery blond in color, with very fine hop aromas and fruity, bitter flavors. A real refermentation in the bottle, which will continue for a long time in your cellar, results in a harmonious and well-balanced beer, full of unexpected and complex aromas. 9.5% ABV

CHIMAY GRANDE RÉSERVE

This dark ale has rich flavors of mulling spices and caramel, with a smooth palate and warming finish. Created as a Christmas beer in 1956, Grande Réserve is now the best-selling Trappist beer in the world. Chimay ales are produced by the Trappist monks of Notre-Dame de Scourmont Abbey in Belgium, using water drawn from protected wells on the monastery grounds. 9% ABV

DELIRIUM NOEL

Brouwerij Huyghe (Delirium) did not have a traditional Christmas beer until Noel appeared on the scene in 90s. As demand grew for a holiday ale a recipe was created and several label concepts were made. When the chief export markets were asked to pick a design, a consensus couldn’t be made. The brewery, in-spite of the pleads from their packaging team not to, decided to label the bottles with all three designs! A skiing elephant, an ice skating elephant, and a sledding elephant.

Delirium Noel pours a chestnut amber hue, covered with a fine, white, creamy and lacing foam. This strong Belgian Dark Ale has complex aromas of caramel malt, fruit, spices and alcohol sweetness. The flavor has a strong initial presence of alcohol, spices and bitterness. The aftertaste transforms to sweetness, while the spice and bitter notes linger. 10% ABV

ST. BERNARDUS CHRISTMAS

St. Bernardus Christmas Ale is a dark seasonal brewed in the classic Quadrupel style of Belgium’s best Abbey Ales. Similar to all the beers from our brewery, it greets the drinker with the signature aroma of St. Bernardus’ house yeast strain (in use since 1946!) and a beautiful brown hue.

Rivaling the complexity of the Abt 12, St. Bernardus Christmas Ale offers a spicy, mint-like flavor profile exuding the tastes of warming alcohol, fermented molasses, apricots, licorice, and marzipan that are highlighted by the perfect balance of brewing sugars. 10% ABV
